introduce the nail salons in SHIBUYA109. |

You can
find Nail Craft on your right, diagonally across from the
ascending escalator to 2F. You will see a counter, the store
has very easy access. Nail Craft is often featured in magazines,
and gets regular visits from models from all walks of life.
We asked the staff here to display 5 of their unique designs
in this ‘Swimmers& Yukata Special’. Here, you will find
a wide variety of gorgeous nails, hand-care service, nail
extensions, nail art, pedicure as well as portable nail care
packages and so forth. Make sure you don’t miss out!
Furthermore, this store also offers ‘SWAROVSKI Art’ that
will transform any accessory into a beautiful shiny piece
of artwork. I am sure that you will be enchanted by the skillful
nail craft available her. Now, let me introduce some of the
‘sparkling accessories’ that are on display at the counter. |
 |
Can Opener( ¥3,150~)
Firstly, look at this lovely can opener! It is perfect for opening cans, a problem
sprouted from beautiful long nails which you may often frown upon? I would
call this a MUST HAVE item. One of these stunning can openers will save you
the pain of trying to open cans with your long nails. You can even show this
accessory off to your friends… |
 |
FRISK Case( ¥6,300~)
This ‘FRISK Case’ can also be used as a key holder. Have you noticed the increasing
number of FRISK fans walking down the streets? You can put the FRISK candy
into this case, making it a fashionable accessory which you can show off as
you leisurely take it out of your bag when you walk about. |
 |
Heart-Shaped Glasses( ¥6,300~)
Lastly, ‘Heart-Shaped Glasses’, a very CUTE and eye-catching item. It will surely
become the talk of the party…
By dangling it off your T-shirt, you can also wear this as a fashionable accessory! |

Now,
allow me to introduce nailland inside PLAZA on B2.
One often goes barefooted when wearing swimmers and Yukata.
Beautifying your feet and toe-nails are important for summer
season, since there will be lots of occasions when you need
to go barefooted. I took the liberty of having a pedicure
myself, a good way to get to the bottom of things. Pedicure,
here I come!
A wide variety to choose from…
You can select the nail colour and pattern of your choice
by putting ticks against the items of your desired combination
on the ‘Personal Nails Selection Sheet’. When taking a full-course,
you should tick-off single colours on the sheet.
Colour-Off *Surcharge ¥525(Tax included)
The course begins with a footbath to clean your feet. The
pressure points on your feet are carefully massaged, making
you feel all relaxed.
Next, your toe nails are cleaned and shaped with a nail filer.
Special dead skin removal solutions are applied, and your
feet are placed into the footbath again. After your feet
are cleaned for the 2nd time, all the dead skin is removed.
It doesn’t take much to see the marvelous BEFORE and AFTER
effects! To follow, nail base is applied, then the nail colours.
Store recommendations and popular colours are “…bright and
daring colours” Blue shades and lamé are very nice in summer.
Popular combinations also include pink base with colourful
lamé designs.
There is a surcharge for design fee. My advice is that if
you don’t know what design you want, just leave it to the
experts to decide on what is best.
Use clear nail polish after you have applied the colours you
want. A slight tint of pink makes the blood circulation of
your hands look better.
Next, use red lamé to give the ‘French Nail’ look. Apply silver
polish with large glitters to the joints.
Lastly but not
least, apply the top coat. There are 3 different types: clear
polish/glitter polish/UV gel〔UV gel surcharge ¥525(Tax included)〕.
Apply the glitter polish, followed by the quick-dry UV gel.
Then, hold the nails towards UV light and allow the polish
to set.
To
top things off, apply moisturizing oil to the finished nails.
Apart from the gradation design I chose this time, 3D Nail
Art is also available. You can try this on your thumb. The
whole course takes about 1 hour.

The store recommendation: Special ‘Soak-off Design Gel’. Design
fee is included in the menu for nails in this category.
As Gel becomes exposed to UV light, it will gradually harden
in a short period of time. Different designs and patterns are
available each month, so you can choose the one you like.
Please take time to enjoy a pedicure this summer!
